National Council of Jewish Women (Vancouver Section) Graduate Scholarship in Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies

Terms of Reference

  1. The purpose of this annual award is to provide financial support for a student pursuing a graduate degree in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies.
  2. The National Council of Jewish Women (Vancouver Section) Graduate Scholarship in Women's Studies is valued at the earned interest from the endowment fund.
  3. The criteria for this award are:
    1. enrolment in the first, second, or third term in the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies graduate program at Simon Fraser University
  4. This award may be held in conjunction with other awards made by Simon Fraser University or other agencies where permitted by those agencies.
  5. The student must be nominated for this scholarship by the Chair of the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Graduate Program. The nomination should be made on the online Grad Awards, Application and Adjudication System (GA3) and must be accompanied by a current, unofficial SFU transcript.
  6. The award will be made by the Dean of Graduate Studies on behalf of the Senate Graduate Awards Adjudication Committee, and on the recommendation of the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Graduate Program Chair.
