Master of Pest Management Graduate Entrance Scholarship

Terms of Reference

  1. The purpose of this award is to provide financial support for a student entering a graduate degree program leading to a Master of Pest Management.
  2. The Master of Pest Management Graduate Entrance Scholarship is valued at a portion of the earned income and will be awarded annually. One scholarship is available each year to a graduate student entering the Master of Pest Management program, Department of Biological Sciences.
  3. The criteria for this award are:
    1. registration at Simon Fraser University in a graduate program in Pest Management. A minimum CGPA of 3.00 is required.
    2. demonstrated academic excellence at the undergraduate level and, if applicable, at the graduate level.
  4. This award may be held in conjunction with other awards made by Simon Fraser University or other agencies where permitted by those agencies.
  5. Application is made on the online Grad Awards, Application and Adjudication System (GA3) and must be accompanied by:
    1. copies of all postsecondary transcripts
    2. a concise outline of the proposed program of studies
    3. one letter of reference from a faculty member familiar with the applicant’s recent work
  6. The award will be made by the Dean of Graduate Studies, on behalf of the Senate Graduate Awards Adjudication Committee.
