Photo 2:
A breathtaking view overlooking Burrard Inlet from Burnaby Mountain Park! You can get here by following the Trans Canada trail at the north end of SFU .

Since my first arrival in August , I have been enjoying the trails and parks around SFU. A leisurely walk after work brings me closer to nature, and far away from academic pressure!

Tip: See SFU Recreation for details on the 22 multi-use trails surrounding the  Burnaby campus.

Photo 3
This picture was taken at Burnaby Lake in early morning.

I live near Burnaby Lake, so since I moved here, every two or three days I would jog around the lake for about 5km, half of the lake trail . (I wil try to finish the total 10km in the future!)

Also, I am not alone! Lots of local residents enjoy running here, and people practice rowing during the quiet morning time. The enjoyable running gives me a great start for a new day!
