We're sharing the contest entries from our Secret Spots & First Impressions grad student photo competition.

This photo is from Ramasamy Meyyappan, Department of Biomedical Physiology & Kinesiology who writes:

This picture was taken while walking along the Georgia viaduct, which I consider to be a secret vantage point to enjoy the Vancouver skyline, especially at night.

Every time I ride the Skytrain around Main street, the breathtaking landscape of the city passes by in the blink of an eye, leaving me with a sense of longing to savour the sights in slow motion.

This was a great spot to realize my wish, as this picture captures a part of the glittering skyline against the giant canvas of the night.
