We're sharing the contest entries from our Photos of Home grad student photo competition.

This photo was taken in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and is entitled "Breaking Bread" . It's from Lamrot Lulseged, School of International Studies, who writes:

Injera and wot, Ethiopia's traditional cuisine, rests on one of my mother's circular tables during a lunch she hosted a while back. Breaking bread together is one of the most quintessential elements of the African experience, and Ethiopia is no exception.

Home to me is represented by injera and wot, eaten only by Ethiopians and whose vibrant colors and savory flavors make it my favorite food in the entire world.
