Grants of up to $25,000 are available to young researchers from developing countries working on their doctoral thesis as visiting scholars through the RSM Fellowship Program.

They are specifically looking for doctoral candidates whose field of research for their master's degree was related to development in fields such as economics, health, education, agriculture, environment, natural resource management, or other developmentā€‘related subject, among other criteria.

Research grants cover residence costs for a 6 to 10 month period in a renowned university or research center.

Preference is given to lecturers and researchers who are employed in academic or research institutions in their home country and are currently enrolled in PhD programs. Fellows must commit to return to their home country when their fellowship ends to complete their PhD and to work.

The application package is due by February 11, 2015.
