Events and Conferences: SFU Climate and Energy Research Day

The VP Research and the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions (PICS), are hosting the SFU Climate and Energy Research Day in hopes of bringing together SFU scholars and researchers to engage in discussion surrounding climate change.

There is a call for abstracts on Climate Change and other energy related issues with a total length of 250 words.

There will also be a poster prize contest open to graduate students with a $500 award for the two best posters.

The event will be held on April 14, 2015 from 10 am to 4 pm.

    Nominations are now being accepted for the Nora and Ted Sterling Prize in Support of Controversy. The prize is awarded annually for work that presents new daring and creative ways of looking at the world. Submit nominations for consideration by February 15, 2018.
