SFU History presents: Drs. Fereidoun and Katharine Mirhady Endowed Lecture in Iranian Studies

Global Iran: Reflections on the Modern Period

The lecture will be held by Cyrus Schayegh, an Associate Professor of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University, he will examine a variety of changes that have occurred in the region over the last 150 years. Including the role of biomedical sciences in modern Iran and the processes that have shaped Greater Syria and the region as a whole over the last 150 years.

The lecture will take place on April 9, 2015 at 7pm in the Fletcher Challenge Theatre, Room 1900 at the Vancouver Campus, 515 West Hastings Street.
