Job Posting: Postdoctoral Fellowship in Nursing, University of Alberta

The University of Alberta is offering a Postdoctoral position in nursing, working with Translating Research in Elder Care (TREC) through a Pan Canadian team of researchers. The position involves conducting research on how individual and organizational factors influence quality of care in Western Canadian nursing homes using patient data. The successful applicant will produce manuscripts based on this data and will participate in conference presentations and other forms of dissemination.

Successful applicants will have a PhD in Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Nursing, or a related field. Experience with quantitative research and databases is required. Experience with the MDS-RAI 2.0 database is an asset.

This fellowship provides salary, some health benefits, office space, and a computer. This is a 12 month position that will be based in either Kelowna or Edmonton.
