Embracing Change

I took this photo during my first visit to downtown Vancouver where, after collecting my ID card, I decided to explore a bit.

It was the first time I had experienced the rain, and I started to think about the sacrifices I had made and what I had left behind to move to this city and immerse myself in a new culture.

I tried to capture the way that the daylight started to recede over the buildings. It was in this moment that I realized that however tough change might be, you can always nurture it into something beautiful.
