SFU Moves up on QS World University Rankings
Simon Fraser University has moved up in the 2015 QS World University Rankings, to 11th in Canada, a great addition to the 50th anniversary celebrations this fall. Last year, SFU clocked in at 12th.
SFU is also one of only 13 Canadian universities to place in the top 300 in the world.
In fact, SFU ranks even higher in research citations per faculty member, coming in at second place in Canada, and finishes in the top spot in Canada for the international diversity of the student community.
The QS rankings are a highly read comparison of universities, evaluating more than 800 universities around the world. They base their rankings on academic reputation, employer reputation, student-to-faculty ration, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio and international student ratio.
