Shifting the discussion of open eduction from "Why?" to "Why not?", SFU is hosting what is sure to be an intriguing discussion on open practices, the cost and efficacy and what role the government should play.

Join Dr. John Willinksy (Public Knowledge Project), Dr. Juan Pablo Alperin (Professor of Publishing Studies, SFU), David Ascher (Mozilla Foundation), Inba Kehoe (Copyright Officer, UVIC), Clint Lalonde (Open Education at BCcampus) and Dr. Rosemary (Rosie) J. Redfield (Professor of Zoology, UBC) at this Open Access Week special event.
