  • Thursday, February 11 ( 5:30 - 7:00pm)
  • Room 1420-1430, SFU Vancouver (515 West Hastings Street, Vancouver)

In the wake of the agreement reached at the 2015 COP21 Climate Change Conference in Paris and the newly launched UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this roundtable discussion will explore how academics, NGOs, the City of Vancouver and the Government of Canada will contribute to global change. Speakers will highlight initiatives contributing to the SDGs and how these global goals can and must be realized not just in the developing world, but also in our own city and country.
