Boost your value by honing your professional writing skills!

Business Writing for Today's Professional is a one-day workshop, free to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

Effective writing – no matter the type – influences clear communication. What and how you write impacts how well your ideas are received and understood.Refining and updating your writing skills will help keep you, your work, and your projects relevant and competitive.

  • Date: Thursday, March 24
  • Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm (Registration at 8:45am)
  • Location: Thesis Defense Room (Bennett Library room 2020)

All grad students and postdocs can attend any Mitacs session, held anywhere in BC. Check the Mitacs website for additional offerings. 

As always, Mitacs sessions are at no cost but space is limited and seats go fast so sign up now!  (The workshops are free if you show up, but you are charged $50 if you do not show up. See their registration information.)
