Have you heard about ORCID, ResearchGate, Academia.edu or other networking and academic profile websites?

Would you like to know how to successfully use them to promote your research and professional experience?

Building an Online Academic Presence will review some of these emerging tools, why they are important, and how to successfully select and maintain your online profiles. This workshop will discuss privacy and copyright considerations in developing your online presence and review using some of the "alternative metrics" features to track the impact of your research.
