External Award: Taiwan Fellowship

The Taiwan Fellowship was established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to encourage experts, scholars, and doctoral students worldwide to conduct research in Taiwan's universities or research institutions, thereby promoting international academic partnerships.

The Taiwan Fellowship offers one economy class round-trip airfare, accident insurance, as well as a monthly stipend of approximately CAD$1,500/month. The visa fee is also waived.

The annual application period runs from May 1 to June 30 for grants from January to December the following year. The minimum duration of a Fellowship is three (3) months. The maximum duration is one (1) year.
