Dean of Graduate Studies Awards for Excellence

We’re delighted to announce the recipients of the 2016 Dean of Graduate Studies Awards for Excellence. There were excellent nominees in each category and the selection committees were impressed with the quality of the contributions of each of the nominees to the graduate enterprise at SFU. 

We congratulate everyone who was nominated for a DGS Award for Excellence.

Wade Parkhouse, Dean of Graduate Studies, adds, "I am always impressed and humbled by the outstanding efforts all of the nominees make in supporting graduate students. Nominations represent the highest honour for faculty and staff engaged in the graduate enterprise at SFU. I recognize that a tremendous amount of work goes into each nomination package. Given that colleagues and graduate students chose to put time and energy into the nominations, it is a huge recognition of the efforts that all the nominees make on behalf of graduate students at our university."

The 2017 Dean of Graduate Studies Awards for Excellence are open for nominations. Deadline for nominations is March 15, 2017.
