Mitacs Consultations at SFU

Mitacs is a national, not-for-profit organization that has designed and delivered research and training programs in Canada for 15 years. Through the Elevate and Accelerate programs, they offer research internships and fellowships to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. 

Amin Aziznia, one of Mitacs' Business Development Specialists, will be holding drop-in consultations on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in August, from 1–2 pm in the Graduate Studies' CAPE office, MBC 1501

Dates available for drop-in consultations:

  • Tuesdays, August 9, 16, 23 and 30
  • Thursdays, August 11, 18, and 25

Amin will be available to:

  • Give advice on how to find a research partner
  • Give feedback on your draft proposals
  • Give tips on how to put together your research proposal
  • Answer other questions you have about securing a Mitacs research internship or fellowship. 

All graduate students and postdoctoral fellows interested or in the process or applying for Mitacs Elevate or Accelerate funding are welcome to drop by!
