Job Posting: SFU Aboriginal Reconciliation Council Research Assistant Opportunities

The SFU Aboriginal Reconciliation Council (SFU-ARC) is seeking one Graduate Research Assistant and one Undergraduate Research Assistant to support the work of the SFU-ARC project. SFU-ARC has been formed to seek input and provide recommendations regarding SFU’s response to the recommendations in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Report. 

General duties include providing assistance to the co-chairs, the Project Manager and/or the Graduate Research Assistant of the working group. The duties may vary depending upon the stage of the project, but would likely include:

• Assisting the GRA in the collection of resource materials;

• General web site monitoring, including the discussion forum, uploading of resources; and

• Maintaining an active social media presence.

The hourly salary will be $22/hour plus benefits for Graduate Research Assistant, and $15/hour plus benefits for the Undergraduate Research Assistant.
