Mentoring with Math - Mentors needed!

The SFU Surrey – TD Community Engagement Centre and Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver (BBGV) are partnering to offer the Mentoring with Math Program for children in Grades 1-7. The program aims to help elementary school students develop their math skills in a fun way, and to engage them in games and activities with supportive adults.

The program will be coordinated by staff from BBGV and volunteers are needed to help facilitate the math activities and games, and to build relationships with the students.

We are hosting the program in Burnaby (Thursdays 4pm-5:30pm) and Surrey (Wednesdays 4pm-5:30pm) starting in January. if you are interested in helping out, or would like more information please contact Rachel Nelson at rer1@sfu.ca
