Apply for Certificate Program in University Teaching and Learning by May 26

May 08, 2017

How can you develop the expertise and confidence you need to thrive in a teaching role? One solution is to complete the Certificate Program in University Teaching and Learning (CPUTL).

This part-time program is designed to give graduate students (and postdoctoral fellows) a deeper understanding of how to approach teaching, along with practical skills that they can apply as a teaching assistant or instructor. Participants have the opportunity to interact with peers from other disciplines, and they receive a certificate that provides tangible evidence of their commitment to teaching.

Read a blog post about one student's experience in the program: CPUTL: A Graduate Student Describes Her Experience.

The program takes place on Fridays from September 15 to December 8, 2017 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Burnaby campus.

The application deadline for the Fall 2017 program is Friday, May 26, 2017, so apply now
