External Award: Indspire's Building Brighter Futures Program

Indspire's Building Brighter Futures Program is offering a number of bursaries and scholarships to Indigenous students studying in graduate degree programs.

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Canadian Indigenous person
  • Enrolled at an accredited post-secondary institution, professional development, traditional knowledge program or arts training
  • Enrolled full-time
  • Financial need
  • Not a member of the staff, board, or jury at the time of applying for the support; 
  • Study outside of Canada is considered only at the graduate level. (Masters and PhD only)

Application deadline is August 1, November 1, and February 1 of every year. For more information, please see their website.

  • Volunteer Posting: Racing Readers Program in Surrey January 12, 2018
    The Racing Readers Program is looking for volunteers to work with children in grades 2-5 once or twice a week at elementary schools in Surrey. Apply to volunteer by Thursday, January 25, 2018.
