Job Posting: Postdoctoral Fellowship in Ecology

The Prince William Sound Science Center  is accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher.  The successful applicant would be expected to design their own approach to studying the linkages between Prince William Sound Pacific herring condition or recruitment and environmental conditions and to generate a peer-reviewed publication. The goal of the research is to provide insight on why herring have not recovered in Prince William Sound.

Qualifications:

  • must have completed a Ph.D. in fisheries science, ecology, or a related field (or ten years of research experience with forage fish)
  •  expected to have a proven record of peerreviewed publications. 
  • non-US citizens must satisfy U.S. immigration requirements. 

This position a full-time, 3-year position with beginning between December 2017 and February 2018. Compensation is $5,000 per month plus benefits.
