Workshop: Building an Online Presence

Thinking about how an online presence can support your career exploration and growth? Wondering how important it is to tend to your social media sites? 

Deanne Esdale of SFU's Career Services will walk you through how to make meaning of the variety of ways to share your messages online. This session will inform on what kinds of content to curate, which stories to tell, and on which platforms as well as how to be intentional about expanding connections and build authentic relationships, and how to to stand out with potential employers and funders.

This workshop will be held on:

  • Tuesday, October 31 from 10:30am - 12:00pm in Harbour Centre Room 2245 (SFU Vancouver)
  • Wednesday, November 22 from 10:30am - 12:00pm in WAC Bennett Library Room 7200 (SFU Burnaby)
