Spring 2018 TA/TM Day

January 02, 2018

If you are—or plan to become—a teaching assistant or tutor-marker, TA/TM Day is for you!

This free, one-day event is SFU's biggest orientation opportunity for teaching support staff. It's your chance to meet with peers and pick up information and tips from experienced TAs and SFU staff.

Come share your teaching strategies and best practices, your challenges and successes, your fears and concerns in a supportive environment that encourages your participation. Sessions will be facilitated by some of SFU's most experienced and skilled TAs and TMs.

There are lots of sessions to pick from: you can find out about everything from the health and safety laws that govern your work to practical strategies for integrating multilingual learners into university classes. You don't need to register—just save the date and show up. A free lunch is included!
