Alumni Career Panel: Unique Careers of Advanced Degree Holders

February 16, 2018

How can you use your graduate degree to get a job you love?

The Alumni Career Panel will connect you with SFU graduate studies alumni who have created interesting, non-linear careers that took them beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries.

At this event, we aim to highlight unique career possibilities that exist for advanced degree holders, helping you envision possibilities for yourself you may never have considered before. You might be surprised to learn how one's "career" might look very different than what you thought while in grad school.

The event will consist of a plenary session where you'll be introduced to the panelists, followed by three roundtable sessions where you'll have the opportunity to discuss face-to-face with three of the panelists. The evening will wrap up with a networking session, where attendees can mix and mingle with all of the panelists.

  • Date: Tuesday, February 20
  • Time: 5 – 8pm
  • Venue: Joseph & Rosalie Segal Centre, Room 1400Harbour Centre
