The Burnaby Festival of Learning team is looking for an Assistant Designer and and Event and Marketing Assistant to support the preparation of the Festival.

About the Festival

"Burnaby Festival of Learning is happening again for it's third time from May 6th to 12th, 2018. This is a week-long celebration with free events that will inform, engage, and spark creative conversations between diverse audiences in an unconventional way.

The Festival is co-presented by Simon Fraser University and the City of Burnaby alongside many local organizations. All events are free and engage all audiences including children, youth, adults, and seniors.

The Festival is a platform to showcase the many opportunities of learning and community engagement in Burnaby, and promotes lifelong learning in an unconventional way. This is a wonderful opportunity, especially for students, to get involved with the community and other organizations as well as gaining valuable work experience."

  • Duties: Support the co-chair in executing marketing collateral for the Festival, including assisting with branding, theme design, and creating marketing materials
