Register Now for Three Minute Thesis Wildcard Heats

One slide. Three minutes. Cash prizes. Give voice to your thesis in SFU's annual Three Minute Thesis competition.


Registration is still open for 3MT Wildcard heats. If you are not able to participate in your faculty heat, or your faculty is not running a heat, register in a wildcard heat now!

Burnaby Wildcard:

  • Date: Wednesday, March 14, 2018
  • Time: 11:00 am -  1:00 pm

Vancouver Wildcard Heat:
  • Date: Friday, March 16, 2018
  • Time: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
  • Location: Harbour Centre, Room 2270
  • Registration: Register on myInvolvement by Monday, March 12 


Winners of the wildcard heats will be invited to the SFU Finals along with the winners of the faculty heats. RSVP and reserve your seat at the SFU finals now!

SFU 3MT Finals:

  • Time: 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
  • Location: SFU's Big Data Hub, ASB 10090, Burnaby campus
