About Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue
The Centre uses dialogue and engagement to facilitate transformative conversations and create real-world impact for society’s most pressing challenges.
We strengthen Canadian democracy by promoting democratic values and innovation, spread best practices by providing dialogue training and tools, and help governments to engage citizens and stakeholders through our consulting services.
As a bridge between the university and community, we enable student success through the Semester in Dialogue and other experiential learning opportunities and provide a home to select initiatives run by our Dialogue Fellows and Associates.
Mission: To foster shared understanding and positive action through dialogue and engagement.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Arts, Business, Communications, Social Sciences or another relevant discipline, and three years of relevant experience in consulting, public policy, planning, project management, financial administration, communications, public engagement or similar fields – or an alternative, but equivalent combination of education, training, professional certifications and experience.
- Excellent financial, budget management, accounting, and administrative skills. Ability to manage budgets, track expenditures, meet reporting and reconciling deadlines.
- Experience in grant writing and fundraising, including developing proposals, managing donor relationships, and tracking and meeting financial reporting deadlines.
- Good skills in dialogue, public engagement, facilitation, or other relevant subject areas.
- Good skills creating effective and accessible English communications (written and verbal) for diverse audiences and in different formats (reports, proposals etc.).
- Strong community engagement skills and experience working with Indigenous communities and equity seeking groups.

The Coordinator, Admin & Engagement will be a key member of the Centre for Dialogue's Mitigating Wildfire program team, contributing to the program's success in reducing the impact of wildfires on communities and ecosystems. Recently launched, we anticipate that this project will grow and offer opportunities for the candidate to grow along with it. Option for remote work available for candidates in high wildfire impacted areas.
