Dialogue Alumni Julien Thomas has organized some exciting events at the Faraday Cafe, 434 Columbia Street in Chinatown.

Friday July 11, 7:30-8:30 PM - Drinks and Discussion: The Disconnected City
Join guest speakers Nikolas Badminton and others as they present ideas, critiques, and speculations on the future of our relationship to digital technology and the city. Nikolas Badminton is a recovering management consultant and ad man, and speaks internationally on human behavior in relation to mobile, digital and social influences. Doors at 7:00, cash bar.

Saturday July 12, 7:00-9:00 AM - Evening of Meditative Inquiry

What does it mean to be truly here? What happens to this space when we stop distracting ourselves? What do we find when we allow everything to be just as it is? Join us in this body-centred, Saturday evening investigation to explore what it means to be where we are.

Monday July 14, 8:30-9:30 PM - Palley, Lee, Zbarsky, Read Quartet
The Palley, Ley, Zbarsky, Read Quartet is an experimental/jazz quartet out of Vancouver, BC that draws influence from the greats of various genres of Jazz and Improvised music. Whether their sound goes to far off places or stays safe at home they continue to draw the audience into their unique sound-scape. Doors at 8:00, cash bar.

Tuesday July 15, 7:00-9:00 Evening of Story with special guests Nadine Pluzark, Layla Naquin, Kim Haxton and more.
