Join SFU Semester in Dialogue as we discuss how those with disabilities (both visible and invisible) are challenged in their search for work, and how we can reduce those barriers.

We respectfully acknowledge that this event is taking place on the unceded and traditional territories of the Semiahmoo, Katzie, Kwikwetlem, Kwantlen, Qayqayt and Tsawwassen First Nations. This land was never surrendered, relinquished, or handed over in any way.

TIME, LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION

This public dialogue is taking place Thursday, March 12th in Classroom 3200 of the Simon Fraser University Surrey Campus, located at 250-13450 102 Ave, Surrey, BC. Doors open at 1:00pm for registration, the event itself starts at 1:30pm.

ACCESSIBILITY

This event's location is serviced by elevators and there are wheelchair accessible washrooms on site. Chairs will be provided for all participants and tables close to speakers will be set aside for people with mobility needs. We aim to host a scent-reduced event. ASL interpretation will be provided at request - please contact jaw19@sfu.ca if you require an interpreter.

FOOD

Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Vegan/vegetarian options are available.
