Graduate Studies

Contact me at suzanad@sfu.ca to explore opportunities related to graduate studies at the MSc or PhD levels under my supervision and to join the SAM Lab Research Group. The research is in the field of Geographical Information Systems and Science, more particularly in theoretical and applied aspects of spatial analysis and modeling of complex dynamic geospatial systems. The integration of GIS, geographic automata (cellular automata or agent-based) models, artificial intelligence and soft computing methods are used to represent human-environment interactions to solve environmental problems related to land-use and land-cover change, urban sprawl, ecological, forest and/or coastal landscape processes.
