We are developing a customizable peer review process administered through the nStudy learning software. When complete, the software will allow instructors to develop a template for peer review plus recommended targets for review (i.e., mechanics, content, argumentation, explanation, etc.) based on the type of writing assignment. Students receive peer review training related to the template, then use the template as they review peers’ compositions. Feedback and analytics are generated for authors from multiple peers’ reviews, and feedback is also developed for reviewers, from authors, about qualities of their reviews. Instructors will be able to request analytics about authors’ and reviewers’.
