SFU Mail - SFU's Mail and Calendar system

SFU Vault - SFU is offering access to the highly versatile SFU Vault cloud storage service to faculty, staff, and students who have an active SFU Computing ID. This service is available at no cost and can be used across multiple devices.  SFU Vault provides easy file sharing between teams or individual users to assist in the various projects undertaken by University members and foster collaboration from external access points.

Survey Monkey -  A full-featured web survey tool with a wide variety of question types and reporting. This service is provided to support surveys for University-related teaching, learning, research, and administrative purposes. The SurveyMonkey application and data are hosted in Canada by a commercial provider external to SFU.

Bluejeans Video Conferencing Service - A cloud-based videoconferencing service, to provide high-quality video meetings for faculty, staff and students.  The BlueJeans bridge allows people to connect with various systems, including traditional videoconference and HD videoconference units, Google Video Chat, telephone, etc between multiple sites.

Canvas - An online learning management system for instructors and students.

Personal Webspace or Filespace - Every SFU ID has a certain amount of personal network file space, which can be accessed using your SFU ID and password. 

SFU Maillists - Maillists are available to everyone at SFU and provide an easy way to send mail to a group.

Websurvey - A secure tool for gathering and organizing important information.

Blackboard Collaborate -  online classroom tool for live audio conferencing with graphical support (typically PowerPoint slides). It can be used to hold online office hours, to conduct meetings, or to run classes. Recorded sessions may be accessed later via an online archive. 

SFU Wireless

Turnitin - SFU subscribes to the anti-plagiarism service Turnitin is available for use by all SFU instructors. 

Wikis - For public or internal collaboration, you can use a wiki to create, organize and maintain your documents. 

Jabber - An instant messaging (IM) service hosted at SFU 

Tech Support

The tech office in Education Central - edb8513 provides technical support for all Faculty of Education computing hardware and software technologies including audio visual equipment used for classroom presentations.
