Willow holds an M.A. in Political Science from Concordia University, and a B.A. in Political Science and East Asian Studies from McGill University. Her research investigates how discourses of race and difference are negotiated and resisted within the everyday lives of multiracial families. Willow's research interests include: anti-racism/anti-oppressive pedagogies, critical multicultural education, post colonialism, and feminism. She is currently involved in research at the Aboriginal Education Research Centre (AERC) at the University of Saskatchewan, and has experience working in First Nations health and education in BC.
