I previously taught secondary mathematics in Singapore and has opportunities to work with both teachers and students through my work in the Ministry of Education. My research interests include helping students develop mathematical thinking and the use of proofs in mathematics teaching and learning.

Please tell us how you first discovered your program.
I completed the Educational Psychology Master's program in SFU and was drawn to the Mathematics Education PhD program due to my work in teaching and learning of mathematics.
