Thesis: Diverse Perspectives on Teaching Math for Teachers: Living the Tensions

Currently: Associate Dean, Faculty of Science & Technology, Douglas College

I graduated from SFU for the first time with a Bachelor of Science (Math major, French minor) and PDP in 1987. Two years later I completed my Masters in Mathematics, again at SFU. After many fulfilling years teaching mathematics at Douglas College, SFU's Mathematics Education Graduate Program offered me the opportunity to explore math ed more deeply with dedicated, supportive faculty and an amazing community of teachers and scholars. I'm not in the classroom anymore, but I still seek ways to keep learning and stay involved, particularly in supporting mathematics teacher development.
