Dr. Susan O'Neill talks performance anxiety on Radio National

Natasha Mitchell from Radio National's Life Matters show interviewed Susan O'Neill, associate professor in the Faculty of Education at SFU, about performance anxiety on Wednesday, April 18. Listen to the podcast here.

Susan O'Neill is visiting the University of Melbourne, where she is a Miegunyah Distinguished Visiting Fellow, to give a talk on April 27, 2012 at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.

Her talk, entitled Understanding and Engaging Artists and Musicians in the 21st Century, draws upon on recent studies by Research for Youth, Music and Education (RYME) that involved young people from across Canada. Dr Susan O’Neill explores the characteristics of artistic and musical engagement, what young people value most about their involvement in the arts and music, and their artistic representations of music in their everyday lives.
