Education graduate student wins CATE Recognition Award
We are pleased to announce and congratulate Karen Sy de Jesus, an Education graduate student, for receiving the Canadian Association for Teacher Education (CATE) Recognition Award for Theses and Dissertations on Teacher Education.
Karen completed a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction Foundations, with a thesis entitled "The Power in Multicultural Education: Examining the Discourses." (Senior Supervisor: Charles Bingham)
She will receive her award at the CATE Annual General Meeting, June 3, 2013 at the University of Victoria.
