Report unearths poor conditions for migrant farm workers in B.C.

A report co-authored by SFU Faculty of Education PhD student, Alexandra Henao, found migrant farm workers made up 28 per cent of temporary foreign workers in 2013. The report was the topic of discussion for a recent advocacy group meeting in Vancouver, which unearthed stories of poor living and working conditions experienced by migrant workers. A Vancouver Sun article published on December 18th discusses the report and meeting outcomes.
