Imaginative Education Module (IE)

IE stems from the research of Dr. Kieran Egan and the Center for Imagination in Research, Culture and Education (CIRCE) to engage students’ imaginative capacities and to enliven student learning.

The module uses the theory and tools of Imaginative Education to frame content, make decisions about planning and implementation, and help students engage with content and the world in which they live. A focus on imaginative practices in pedagogy is highlighted. More exploration of IE in practice can be found at www.circesfu.ca/practice/imaginative-education-ie/.

School experiences and practica will take place throughout the Lower Mainland.
