Social Ecology, Environmental Diversity Module (SEEDs), SFU Surrey Campus

SEEDs is based on environment studies and focuses on environmental ethics and social justice. Involvement with locally-based environmental interests and community organizations will assist student teachers in recognizing the importance of making an impact in one’s community as an educational leader.

This module provides the opportunity for student teachers to complete the on-campus portion of their program at the Surrey Nature Centre.

Student teachers in this module may complete the Environmental Education minor. An option to study in Haida Gwaii in the Summer semester may also be available.

School experiences and practica will take place throughout the Lower Mainland.
