PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION PROGRAM

Alumni Profiles

By the end of 2018, the Professional Qualification Program (PQP) had developed over 190 teachers. PQP students must be determined and highly motivated to complete the requirements of teacher certification, and the Faculty of Education at SFU is proud to support foreign-trained teachers as they pursue their BC teaching certificate.

Jaimie Bin Li successfully completed the Professional Qualification Program (PQP) in 2010 and is currently a Grade 1 teacher at Forest Grove Elementary School in Burnaby, BC.
