BACHELOR OF GENERAL STUDIES IN EDUCATION (BGS)

The BGS in Education will equip you with the skills needed to become a curious, passionate and versatile life-long learner. Ideal for anyone with an interest in education, this highly-flexible program allows you to explore other fields of study at the same time.

BACHELOR OF GENERAL STUDIES (BGS) - ONLINE

SFU's first degree program to be offered online (in collaboration with the Center for Online and Distance Education), this version of the BGS Online will appeal to those who need even more flexibility due to work committments, distance from campus, childcare, travel, and more.

BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (BEd)

The BEd is designed specifically for aspiring elementary and secondary school teachers. More niche than the BGS in Education, the BEd requires students to complete 60 units before entering the program and must also  complete SFU's Professional Development Program (PDP).

BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (BEd) SECOND DEGREE

The BEd second degree is for students who already have a Bachelor's degree and who have been admitted to SFU's Professional Development Program (PDP) or the Professional Linking Program (PLP).
