Biography

Heather grew up North Vancouver, British Columbia and attended Simon Fraser University for her Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She concentrated in Finance and Operations Management, as well as completing the Corporate Environment and Social Sustainability Certificate. After graduating, Heather worked for a bookkeeping start-up that focused on supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs across the United States. She was the Team Lead for their historical bookkeeping team before returning to SFU as a masters student. She’s excited to bring her interest in urban community planning and climate resilience to EMRG. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and all things plant related with a growing collection of indoor plants.
