Cai Xiaohui is a visiting scholar at Simon Fraser University and an associate professor and PhD holder at the College of Foreign Languages, Nankai University (Tianjin, P.R.China). She specializes in Asian North American Literature, literature and geography and space narratives. Her book, Spatial Forms and Cultural Identity in Chinese American Literature, was published by Nankai University Press in 2019. She has published articles in journals, such as Foreign Literature Studies, Literatures in Chinese, Comparative Literature in China, etc. She is the leading researcher on a number of research projects funded by Nankai University and the Tianjin Social Sciences Committee.
