Bargaining Update - August 6, 2019

Collective bargaining between SFU and the SFU Faculty Association (SFUFA) is currently on summer break and will recommence in September. SFU and SFUFA team members have been meeting since early May. Both parties continue to remain resolved to respectful collaboration, cooperation, and engagement throughout the current collective bargaining process.

Agreement has been reached on eight articles of the collective agreement, to-date. Out of respect for both parties, and in support of on-going collegial negotiations, details on this work, including progress made on other articles of the agreement, will not be shared at this time.
