Congratulations to Lara Aknin (Department of Psychology) for her research award from the Canadian Pscyhological Association. The CPA President’s New Researcher awards recognize the exceptional quality of the contribution of new researchers to psychological knowledge in Canada.

Selection is based on early career achievement; in the two years since completing her PhD, Dr. Aknin has published 20 articles and chapters, many as first author, and has co-authored 53 conferences presentations and talks at scholarly meetings, universities and to the general public.
