FCAT oversees a number of exciting initiatives and student award funds, all of which require ongoing support. See below for more detail.


Options to support FCAT include:

Dean's Strategic Priorities Fund
This fund enhances targeted student support, innovative new research, student experiences, helps attract and retain the best faculty, and support other initiatives that will build on our reputation for academic excellence.

Communication Alumni Endowment Fund

The fund provides an annual undergraduate award of approximately $1,000 to be awarded to a 3rd or 4th year student who has submitted the best essay in the field of Communication.

SIAT Undergraduate Award
The School of Interactive Art and Technology Undergraduate Award was established to annually recognize a SIAT Undergraduate student who has made significant contributions to the community.

School for the Contemporary Arts Alumni Endowment Fund
Bursaries are granted on the basis of demonstrated financial need and satisfactory academic performance to students in the School for the Contemporary Arts.

The Minerva Foundation Award for BC Women in Digital Media
This award recognizes and provides funding to incoming female graduate students in the Masters of Digital Media (MDM) program at the Centre for Digital Media who have demonstrated community engagement.

The Rowly Lorimer Project Excellence Award in Publishing
This award recognizes the student who completes the best or most outstanding final project report, which is the capstone requirement for the MPub degree.
