Remember the 3MT competition? Three minutes, one slide, and plain language to share your thesis and win cash prizes.
The Faculty of Environment is pleased to announce the Faculty heat for the 2021 3MT competition, to be held on Friday, March 12th at 11:00 - 12:00 PM.
This heat will be a mix of synchronous/asynchronous presentations where students submit their videos in advance, but we will hold a live virtual event to showcase the videos, vote for the People's Choice award, and announce the winners (First Place $300, Second Place $150, People's Choice $100). The competition is open to all graduate students, at any stage of their degree.
All students, staff and faculty are welcome to watch the video presentations, vote for the People's Choice Award and celebrate the winners on March 12th at 11:00 am. Please register by March 10th to receive the Zoom link and List of Presenters.
Students who would like to compete, submit their videos by Wednesday, March 10th - 10:00 pm.
The first and second place winners will then advance to the University Heat on April 15, 2021 (First Place $1,000, 2nd Place $500, People's Choice $250).
